With the season in the rear view mirror, SEBaseball.com gives out the 2010 season awards. Inside are two fifteen member all-A-Sun teams, a hitter of the year, pitcher of the year, freshman of the year, head coach of the year and assistant coach of the year.

SEBaseball.com's Hitter of the Year

East Tennessee State first baseman Paul Hoilman finished the year ranked top 25 nationally in hits (99), runs (79), doubles (24), home runs (24), RBI (84), walks (51), and on base percentage (.526), while leading the country in total bases (202) and slugging percentage (.860).

He set ETSU single season records for hits, home runs, extra base hits, total bases, RBI, runs and walks. Hoilman also holds the career record for RBI (197) and walks (117), and tied Mike Nipper with 51 career home runs at the Atlantic Sun baseball tournament.

SEBaseball.com's Pitcher of the Year

Florida Gulf Coast's Chris Sale, a left-handed pitcher and No. 13 overall pick by the Chicago White Sox, produced amazing numbers in 2010, including finishing his junior season with an 11-0 record, two saves and a 2.01 ERA in 17 appearances. He racked up 146 strikeouts with just 14 walks for a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 10.4-to-1 for the year. Opponents had a .218 batting average against him.

SEBaseball.com's Freshman of the Year

Jacksonville outfielder Dan Gulbransen led the Dolphins with a .391 average and 53 runs. He also led the team in triples, on-base percentage (.498), walks (39) and multi-hit games (26). Gulbransen also finished third with eight home runs and fourth with 46 RBI.

SEBaseball.com's Head Coach of the Year

Picked sixth in the conference in the preseason, Craig Gibson led Mercer to a second place regular season finish and a conference tournament title. They played in the Atlanta Regional where they won a game over Elon.

SEBaseball.com's Assistant Coach of the Year

Justin Haire helped guide a Fighting Camel offensive that was one of the most explosive in the Atlantic Sun as well as the NCAA. Campbell led the A-Sun in offense with a .345 average and 119 steals.
